QSL side Al Kharitiyat has been dealt a major injury blow ahead of their Emir Cup match against Al Rayyan.

The club confirmed that stiker Yahia Kebe is expected to be out of contention for the game. The absence of Kebe will be a major blow for head coach Amir Osim, who led Al Kharitiyat to survival this season in the QSL. Kebe registered 18 goals in his best ever season with the Thunders.

In other team-news Al Kharitiyat will welcome back striker Issiar Dia to training ahead of the Al Rayyan match. The Senegalese striker has been out recently with a knock, that seen him miss his sides Emir Cup win over Al Arabi in the last round.
Al Kharitiyat are set to play Al Rayyan on Saturday evening.
