Al Arabi has unveiled Kais Yaâkoubi as their new coach for the 2017/2018 QSL season.  The club held a press conference on Saturday evening to introduce the Tunisian coach formally to the local media.

Yaâkoubi is no stranger to the QSL having previously been with Al Wakrah last term, a season in which the blue waves were relegated from the league. A number of Al Arabi management was present at the press conference to formally introduce the coach.

Speaking at the press conference, Yaâkoubi insisted he was the man to get Al Arabi back on track following a disappointing ninth placed finish last season. “Arabi are a great club in Qatar and deserve to be pushing into the top four. I and my team will be working hard over preseason to ensure that the team is ready for the new QSL campaign. “

“We are working closely with the administration in terms of recruiting players and will be hoping to make some announcements in the coming weeks” added the Tunisian tactian when asked about any potential additions to the Al Arabi squad for the new season.

Yaâkoubi will now formally begin preseason training with his new side, and hope that he can get the very best from his squad during the new QSL campaign.
