QSL side El Jaish has confirmed a friendly match with Saudi Arabian side Al Batain on the 1^st of September as Sabri Lamouchi’s side prepares for the new QSL season.

The tie will serve as a strong test for Jaish, who are currently preparing for their crunch second leg match against Al Nasr in the AFC Champions League. This will be the second Saudi team Jaish will face, having previously announced a tie against Saudi giants Al Hilial.

In other team news, Jaish winger Sador Rashidov has left training to join up with the Uzbekistan national team. Uzibekistan are set to kick off their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign against Syria on the 1^st of September. Rashidov will also likely be in the squad to face Qatar in Doha on the 6^th of September.
