Qatar SC coach Abdulla Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Al Sailiya.

“This is a very important game for us. Al Sailiya are a good side. They are consistent in their performance even though they lost to Al Gharafa in their last match. We have assessed them and know their strengths and weaknesses.

“We were better than Al Ahli in all departments of the game, but the result went in favour of them. We had all the statistics favouring us. We lacked in finishing. Goals are more important.

“I spoke to my players and told them to believe in themselves. I explained the importance of applying the finishing touches in a better way.

“Now, we have the full team against Al Sailiya with the addition of Samuel Eto’o. We felt the absence of a strong striker and we have got him. He is a great player who can guide fellow players. I am sure Eto’o will be a special help for our young attackers.

“We now have more options in attack. Our defence is also good. We chose players according to our requirements,” said Abdulla.
