<strong>Lekhwiya have the advantage over Al Arabi down the years. </strong><br />

Lekhwiya senior football team has the edge over Al Arabi in their previous direct encounters in the QSL since Lekhwiya joined the QSL in 2010/2011 season. From a total of twelve matches between both sides in the previous six seasons, where Lekhwiya won in six games whilst Al Arabi have only won two matches, the game has seen a draw between the sides on four occasions.<br />

An impressive fourty six goals have been scored in the goals with Lekhwiya scoring the majority with thirty strikes, Al Arabi fall short with sixteen goals.  <br />

The statastics reveal that the sides have never had a goalless draw, whilst both wins for Al Arabic came in the 2015/2016 season.The latest match between both sides in the QSL scheduled will take place on Friday evening at Lekhwiya stadium.<br />

The 2010/2011 season witnessed the beginning of these clashes and both matches ended in a tie 1-1 respectively.<br />

In the 2011/2012 season, Lekhwiya scored their first ever win over Al Arabi by three goals, while the second leg match ended in a draw by one goal each.Lekhwiya  registered their first wins over Al Arabi with a double victory in the2012/2013 season. The Red Knights won the first game 3-1 and the second leg game 4-1.  <br />
<br />
Lekhwiya again won both legs matches during the 2013/2014 by four goals to one and by five goals to two respectively.<br />
<br />
Lekhwiya stumbled in the first leg match of the 2014/2015 season with the tie ending in a  3-3 draw. However Lekhwiya got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win the second leg fixture.<br />
Finally, Al Arabi grabbed two wins during the 2015/2016 season. The first game saw a 3-2 win, whilst the second game saw the Dream Team run out as narrow 1-0 winners.<br />
