Director of Events Mr. Hassan Al Kuwari said that the Qatar stars League launch ceremony was a great success which was well attended by all the clubs’ officials, players and coaches as well as the media.

The league will be launched this Friday and it is expected to be one of the most competitive league seasons in years.  The number of high quality signings made by the league clubs has made it a tantalizing prospect and I for one can’t wait for the season to start. Al Kuwari said, “We are satisfied with all the new signings by the clubs such as Xavi and Sergio Garcia and many others.”

Speaking about the spectators, he said, “The clubs are doing their best with regards to this matter, and we as the league’s organisers support and guide them in any way we can.” 

He added, “It all comes back to the fans who attend the games, they are the ones who love their teams and have a passion for the game. Sometimes teams may need to do more to attract fans after a temporary setback or a poor run of form. The QSL and the clubs are doing all they can and last season we achieved a lot of positive engagement with fans and also new fans that discovered the league and the clubs for the first time.”

Al Kuwari concluded by saying, “The clubs have to reach out to the spectators in order to motivate them and establish good relations between them both in order to enhance the spectators’ experience.”
