QSL champions Al Rayyan have been handed a boost ahead of the new season, after the QFA announced that Al Rayyan midfielder Daniel Goumou is free to play for the side after serving a two year suspension.<br />

It means that the defensive midfielder is free to play for Rayyan, once his ban is fully served on the 9<sup>th</sup> of August this year. Meanwhile Al Rayyan continued their preseason preparations on Sunday evening, training under the watchful eye of head coach Jorge Fossati and his staff.<br />

The current QSL champions are set to head to their preseason training camp on the 27<sup>th</sup> of July to Murcia, Spain.Al Rayyan will stay in Spain till the 20<sup>th</sup> of August before returning to Qatar to prepare for the defense of the QSL title which they won last season.
