Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club goalkeeper Khalifa Abu Bakr has moved to El Jaish, whilst former El Jaish Sports Club keeper Ahmed Sufyan moved the other way and joined Al Kharaitiyat.

Khalifa Abu Bakr signed a two-year contract on loan, which was the same exact offer extended to Ahmed Sufyan.

From his side, Al-Kharaitiyat Sports Club General Supervisor Sheikh Khalifa Bin Thamer Al Thani said: “The negotiations commenced after the final match of Emir Cup and finished just two days ago.”

Sheikh Khalifa Bin Thamer Al Thani said that Khalifa Abu Bakr is one of the most distinguished goalkeepers who demonstrated good performances during the years he spent with Al Kharaitiyat. However he concluded by saying that he had full confidence in his new signing - Ahmed Sufyan who did very well for one of the best clubs in Qatar.
