QSL side Al Gharafa has continued their busy summer transfer window, securing the signature of Qatari player Yusef Muftah on a three year contract.

Muftah, who had previously represented El Jaish, was presented to the media on Monday evening, in the presence of club officials and Cheetahs head coach Jean Fernandez. The dependable left back has signed a three year deal with the side, and has been handed the number eight shirt for Gharafa.

Talking on his ambitions with the club, the 29 year old defender noted that he is hoping for trophies with the side. “I came to Al Gharafa because I believe that we can challenge for titles this season. We have a good squad, with strong local players and professionals and should be able to compete in the QSL.”
