QSL side El Jaish has unveiled a trio of local players to the media ahead of the start of the QSL season on the 15th of September.
Senior Jaish midfielder Wazim Rizik welcomed the players to the club in the absence of head coach Sabri Lamouchi, who was busy preparing the side ahead of their crunch AFC Champions League clash against Al Nassr. “All of these players will improve El Jaish, they have been handpicked by the coach and we believe they can add much to our squad in both the QSL and the AFC Champions League.
Mohammed Abdrab, picked up from Al Kharitiyat believes that the Jaish squad is more than capable of lifting the QSL title and AFC Champions league this season.” I have won the AFC Champions League with Sadd I have been at a big club. About Kharitiyat, each club has an objective but I have been at the top teams in Qatar and I am looking forward to playing for El Jaish.”
Al Sadd youngster Hamza Sanhaji again stressed the prestige of playing for El Jaish and vowed to make an impact with the club during his spell. “ El Jaish are one of the top sides in Qatar, moving from Al Sadd is a big challenge for me but I believe I can give my all during my time and contribute in the success of the club.”
Finally defender Dame Traoré was introduced to the media, with the on loan Lekhwiya defender sure that his new side will be competing for silverware at the end of the season. “We have a strong group of players at El Jaish I have seen this during preseason. I feel that like any top team in Qatar that we will be competing for the top honors.”
