QSL side Al Arabi have been dealt an injury blow ahead of the start of the new QSL season, after announcing that young defender Feras Dahbour has suffered a serious knee injury at the clubs preseason training camp in Slovenia.

Dahbour picked up a cruciate injury in Arabi’s 1-1 friendly match against Slovenian side NK Ankaran. The defender is expected to be out for at least six months of the season. Kais Yâakoubi’s side are now expected to train till the 26th of August before returning back to Doha for their final preparations for the new season.

Al Arabi are set to take on Al Sailiya in their first game of the QSL season on Saturday the 16th of September.
