As part of preparations for the Qatar Clasico between Al Rayyan and Al Sadd on Thursday, 8th February, the Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) held a co-ordination meeting at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower on Wednesday. The match will kick off at the Al Sadd Stadium at 18:50.

QSLM’s Marketing and Communications Department Acting Executive Director Hassan Al Kuwari, Competitions Department Director Ahmed Al Adsani, Security Representative Mohamed Said Al Abdulla as well as representatives of both clubs were among those who attended the meeting.

Discussions mainly centred around the following topics:

Gates allocation

Ticketing

Arrival of both teams to the venue

Ensuring the presence of organisers from each club at the gates to facilitate spectators’ entry

Co-operation with the security personnel and organisers

Accompanying events and activities

Gates 1 and 2 have been designated for families, Gates 3, 4 and 5 for Al Sadd fans and Gates 6, 7 and 8 for Al Rayyan fans.

A special event area, which will be open from 16:00 on the match day, will feature a play arena and restaurants for fans who can enjoy the special activities before entering the stadium.

The sale of tickets had started at the Al Rayyan club on Monday.
