QSL side Al Gharafa have been handed a major boost as they begun training for their round 24 clash against Al Rayyan.

Gharafa returned to training on Wednesday evening, welcoming back captain Bilal Mohammed. The Qatari international has been out of action for two months with a muscle complaint. In other team news defender Ibrahim Al-Ghanim will be out for at least two weeks with a hamstring injury. He is expected to be fully fit ahead of the Emir Cup campaign.

Two noticeable absentee’s for the side where the attacking duo of Vladimir Weiss and Kristain Nemeth who are representing Slovakia and Hungary in friendly matches ahead of the Euro 2016 championships in France.

Gharafa are currently in 8th position in the QSL standings, and will take on the champions Al Rayyan on Friday the 1st of April, KO at 20:30 at Al Sadd stadium.
