Qatar Sports Club defender  Rafik Halliche is clear that his side are more than capable to beat the drop, ahead of their must win match against Al Wakrah in the final round of QSL action. The Kings need to beat Al Wakrah and hope Al Kharitiyat drop points against Umm Salal if they are to stay up. Halliche spoke with QSL online ahead of this must win match for his side.

How do you see this match against Al Wakrah going?
It is going to be a tough game; this match will be full of pressure especially when taking into consideration that we have no other alternative but to win. However the players have enough experience not to be affected by such pressure. I am confident of the win

What are your team preparations for the decisive match Al Wakrah?
We are getting ready for this game both physically and technically. We are aware that it will be a decisive match; we will be in the best possible shape to do what is required.

Will the pressure of relegation be affecting the team going into this game?
Pressure is a big part of football, it is why we play. We have a strong team mentality and I think that we will thrive under the pressure.

Do you expect Qatar Sports Club to stay in the QSL?
I hope to stay in the QSL, particularly after the good results we have had recently we certainly have the quality in the side to achieve this goal.

What will Qatar need in this game to avoid relegation?
Plenty of team spirit, determination and strength in order to overcome and beat relegation to the Qatar Gas League, we will also need plenty of luck on our side.

What is the team’s ambition this season?
To survive and stay in the QSL!
