Young winger is aiming for glory in first derby appearance
Al Rayyan football player Abdurahman Al-Harazi has revealed that he is looking forward to his team next match versus Al Arabi in Round 12 of the QSL, a game in which will see the young Qatari attacker play in his first Al Rayyan Vs Al Arabi derby.
Al-Harazi speaking to QSL Online ahead of this match and said: “As a player I love such big games, and as I mentioned it is my first derby versus Al Arabi with Al Rayyan. I am excited for this tie.”
Rayyan will head into the derby on a high having won their previous Round 11 fixture over Al Wakrah regardless of the win Al-Harazi is aiming for another win against Rayyan’s bitter rivals. “We try to learn from each and every game we lose or tie. We turn the page of each previous game to focus on the coming one. Currently we are all focused on Al Arabi derby to win and gain the three points.”
Al Harazi praised Al Arabi team performance following their recent wins in the previous two rounds following a slow start to the season; “We respect Al Arabi but we are also looking for the victory. We are aiming to regain our QSL title that means we have to beat everyone especially in derby games.”
Commenting Rayyan’s shaky start to the season, he reflected: “This is football and no team can score positive results all the time. We are aware that our fans are not happy but we promise them better performances and results.”
Al-Harazi ended the interview underlining his about his ambitionions with Al Rayyan this season, he added: “My ambition is to win the QSL title this season, it is the aim of the whole side.”
