QSL side Al Gharafa have announced the signing of Brazilian centre-forward Jonathan Balotelli. After signing the contract, the player has now joined his new team at their preseason training camp in Turkey.

The 28-year-old makes the move to the QSL from Macedonian Prva Liga side Vardar Skopje. Balotelli was signed by the Cheetah’s as they look to strengthen their attacking line up ahead of the new season. It will be exciting to see how recently signed Chilean midfielder Luis Jimenez and Jonathan Balotelli will link up for Al Gharafa next season.

Al Gharafa are currently in Turkey for their preseason training camp to prepare ahead of the 2017/2018 QSL season. Under the guidance of head coach Jean Fernandez, the team is expected to return to Doha on the 22nd of August.
