DOHA : Algerian star Baghdad Bounedjah has resumed training with Qatar Stars League (QSL) giants Al Sadd, the club said on Monday.<br />
<br />
Bounedjah was away on national duty for Algeria who were part of the football competition at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.<br />
<br />
The 24--year-old forward played three games in Rio - against Honduras, Argentina and Portugal.<br />
<br />
The striker underwent fitness drills before hitting the pitch for further training on Sunday.<br />
<br />
Al Sadd last month returned from a summer training camp in Austria where they played and practiced from July 16 to 30.<br />
<br />
Coached by Jesualdo Ferreira, Al Sadd will take on Al Kharaitiyat in the opening game of the new QSL season on September 16.<br />
<br />
The squad is currently in training mode, attending practice sessions under the watchful gaze of Ferreira.<br />
<br />
The new QSL season starts on September 15.<br />
