Reigning QSL champions Al Rayyan have been handed an injury boost ahead of their third round clash against Al Sailiya.
The club has confirmed that young attacker Ahmed Alaa has returned to first team training following a three week layoff with an ankle complaint. The injury meant that the Qatar under 23 international had no part in his side’s second round goalless draw with Umm Salal.
Alaa has been training now with the side since the start of the week, under the recently appointed head coach Michael Laudrup. Alaa will now be hopeful that he can play his way into contention for a role in Laudrup’s first ever competitive Al Rayyan squad.
Al Rayyan will face an away clash against Al Sailiya on Saturday the 15th of October at Al Ahli stadium, KO 19:40.
