QSL side Al Wakrah have formally revealed striker Pablo Zeballos to the local media ahead of the new QSL season. Zeballos now makes up the four professionals at Al Wakrah including Iraqi defender Ali Erhema, Moroccan midfielder Mouhcine Moutouali and the Uruguayan attacker Pablo Oliveira who joined the club a few weeks ago.

Addressing the media for the first time as a Wakrah player Zeballos said; “I believe I can help Wakrah push up the league, we have a strong group of players and I believe we can surprise people this season the QSL.”

He continued: “I will do my best to serve the team, hoping to meet the expectations of the Wakrah fans. I spoke with Victor Caceres of Al Rayyan after receiving the offer from Al Wakrah offer, who advised me to accept it.”

The player added: “I have won the league title with the Paraguayan Club Olimpia with Mauricio Larriera, he knows how I play and that will help me adapt easily to the team and the way of playing.”

Al Wakrah opens up their QSL season with a tough away assignment at El Jaish on Sunday the 18^th of September.
