Al Wakrah Sports Club football defeated Mesaimeer by one goal to nil in the team's first friendly game as part of their preseason preparations.
 
The match was played in the Saoud Bin Abdel Rahman on Sunday evening and saw the Blue Waves dominate the first half.  In fact the only goal of the game was scored in the first period by the Argentinean striker Sasha Saez in the 44^th minute of the game.
 
This match comes before the team travels to Italy for their external training camp on Tuesday.
 
Mesaimeer, the newcomers to Qatar Stars League will hold their training camp in Slovenia this August.
