Qatar football giants Al Sadd will take on Austrian side FC Wacker Innsbruck in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.

Currently camped in Austria, Al Sadd are preparing for the start of the new QNB Stars League season.

Last Thursday, Al Sadd played against MSV Duisburg in which Jugartha Hamroun scored the only goal of the match.

Coach Jesualdo Ferreira allowed the players a day's rest on Friday after the friendly on Thursday. The players returned to training on Saturday with lengthy physical fitness drills in the morning session.

In the evening, the players got together for football action that also lasted more than an hour.

Al Sadd open the season against Al Kharaitiyat on August 5 at the Khalifa International Stadium.
