DOHA: Former champions Al Sadd feel their side is ready for the new Qatar Stars League (QSL) season, the club said following training camps in Germany and Austria.
 
Al Sadd, coached by Jesualdo Ferreira, finished third last season.
 
Despite not making to Al Ain for a short training camp there, a club official said training in Europe met all demands set by the coach.
 
Al Sadd were in Europe from July 16 until 30.
 
The Doha giants were one of the top sides to hit the training pitch after the summer break.
 
Coach Ferreira headed the team training session on Monday also, the club announced.
 
The backroom staff is busy helping the players improve their overall fitness, a club official said.
 
The team is at full strength minus the players who are on national duty.
 
Al Sadd launch the new season with a game against Al Kharaitiyat on September 16.
