QNB Stars League side Al Rayyan are scheduled to play three friendlies before the start of the new season. The club confirmed that the matches will take place on 28 August, 3 September and 8 September.

Muaither will be up first on the 28^th of August, Al Shahaniya will be the second team on the 3^rd of September and Al Sailiya on the 8^th of September. Last week Al Rayyan won their match against Mesaimeer by four goals to nil.

The Lions will start their season on the 16^th of September against Al Khor at the Al Khor stadium.
