QSL champions Al Rayyan has resumed training following their 2-1 defeat to rivals El Jaish in round 23. The squad will now focus for the upcoming game against Al Gharafa  in Round 24 of the QSL, which will be played on Friday the 1st of April at Al Sadd stadium.

The training session was held in the absence of five key players who have left their national teams.  Omar Barry, Ahmed Alaa, Sebastain Soria & captain Rodrigo Tabata Qatar in the upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Hong Kong & China, whilst midfielder Koh Myong-jin has joined up with the South Korean national side.
 
In team news, Al Rayyan will be without defenders Nathan and Musa Haroon for the upcoming Gharafa tie. Both players will now be serving domestic bans after Nathan picked up his fourth yellow card of the season, whilst Haroon was sent off in the defeat to El Jaish.
