QSL side Umm Salal has confirmed that Syrian international Mahmoud Al-Mawas has signed a one year contract extension with the side.

The club took to social media late last night to confirm the deal, which will see the attacker stay with the Orange Fortress till 2019. Al-Mawas has been a key player in the Umm Salal side since signing from Al-Muharraq in Bahrain in January. The Syrian international aided his side to an impressive sixth place finish in the league.

Umm Salal will now turn their attentions to preparing the side ahead of the 2017/2018 QSL season.
