QSL side Umm Salal has confirmed that Syrian international Mahmoud Al-Mawas has signed a one year contract extension with the side.<br />

The club took to social media late last night to confirm the deal, which will see the attacker stay with the Orange Fortress till 2019. Al-Mawas has been a key player in the Umm Salal side since signing from Al-Muharraq in Bahrain in January. The Syrian international aided his side to an impressive sixth place finish in the league.<br />

Umm Salal will now turn their attentions to preparing the side ahead of the 2017/2018 QSL season. </p>
