Al Markhiya held a press conference on Monday evening to introduce their new coach Youssef Adam and two new signings. Gambian professional, Tejan Gita and Ghanaian striker, Kwame Karikari were also presented to the media.

At the start of the press conference, Mohamed Ali Al Naimi, Vice President of Al Markhiya Club, welcomed coach Youssef Adam and the two players. He expressed confidence in the Qatari head coach to lead the team. He also mentioned that Yousef Adam is well equipped to manage newly promoted Al Markhiya who are hoping for a successful season ahead.

Youssef Adam expressed great appreciation for the management of Al Markhiya and said that he is seeking to prove the abilities of Qatari coaches. He also stressed that he will work very hard to achieve the goals and ambitions of the club in the QSL and make sure they stay in the league in seasons to come.



Youssef Adam also revealed his new season's preparation program, which will begin in July with training in Qatar, a European camp and friendly matches.

Gambian professional, Tejan Gita, said that he would work to prove himself in the Qatar Stars League. He added that he did not hesitate when he received the offer to join Al Markhiya and he will give it his all for the team.

Ghanaian striker, Kwame Karikari said, "Playing in Qatar is a great honour for any professional who wants to prove his abilities. I studied the clubs of the QSL and I am ready to embark on a positive new experience."
