Al-Khor Club signed an official contract with the Brazilian player Marco Antoniou to become the forth professional player instead of his counterpart William Souza who left the team after the end of his loan.

The new professional player passed the medical checkup in Aspetar. Mr. Mohamed Meqled Al-Mirikhi, the General Secretary and Head of Football was present during the signing of this two-year contract until Dec 2016.

The General Secretary assured that player Marco can play in different positions within the midfield line and is considered an excellent playmaker who can use both his feet.
Al-Mirikhi added: “We observed him and we were convinced of his performance as the team needs him during this stage.

We are aware that the team is in need for more than player in different positions, but we found out that we need Antoniou for the time being, and as for the offense line, player Julio Cesar is doing fine.”

It is worth mentioning that player Marco was former team captain of the Brazilian Club Figarncy, before transferring on loan to Al-Khor from his original Club Gremio. He will start training with the team effective on next Saturday after the end of the rest granted by the head coach Polony.
