QSL side Al-Khor officially announced the signing of Brazilian striker David Da Silva on a one year deal. The club confirmed that that the twenty-seven-year-old centre-forward was recruited from Kuwaiti club Al Qadisiya.

Da Silva completes The Knight’s foreign player contingent as he joins alongside compatriots Madison, who has been retained by the management, Luciano Castan and Iranian professional Soroosh Rafiei.

The player signed the contract in the presence of Hassan Juma Mohannadi, chairman of the club. The Brazilian expressed happiness upon joining the team, stressing that his goal is to get the title of top scorer in the Qatar Stars League.

Da Silva also added, “I will do everything in my power to help the team achieve its goals through the new season.” Al Khor’s new signing has now started training with the team in Doha ahead of their pre-season training camp in Holland which will begin on the 4th of August and end on the 21st of August.
