Al Khor will play Al Arabi on Saturday 13th of Dec’ at the Al Khor stadium at 16:00.

Al Khor head coach Lazlo Boloni:
“I thought we could take all three points in the last game but then they equalized and we had to settle for one point which was a shame. There are many games in a small space of time and we now have to win the remaining matches before the next break.”

“Last season it is true that our concentration often waned in the final ten minutes of a match but this is true of other teams as well. I always tell my players about this issue but this is football and some things we cannot control.”

“We know that if we switch off then Al Arabi can punish us but we too possess some threats and I hope that we can capitalize on this as their form hasn’t been great recently.”

Al Arabi head coach José Daniel Carreño
“We need to get our first victory; we don’t have a lot of time to prepare the game. I think the competition shows especially yesterday that all teams can beat each other and we have to try and show our best side in the game.”

“There were a lot of goals scored in the last two rounds so we have to try and focus on getting the defense water tight.”

“I am excited to work with this team, they have a lot of quality but I have to work more on the psychological state of mind of the players. The transfer window is always an option too.”
“With regards to my foreign players I cannot give a full assessment just yet I need more time so that I can get a good understanding of the team and how they add to it.”

“The main problem I see is that we are making too many individual mistakes. I really want the break to come because I want to start putting my in print on the team.”
