
QNB Stars League side Al Arabi are scheduled to play four friendly matches during their pre-season camp in Moravske Toplice, Slovenia, from 5th to 22nd July.
The games will be played on 10th, 14th, 17th and 21st July. Rival teams have yet to be decided.
The players will be back in Doha on 30th June for a few days’ training before they travel to Slovenia, where Croatian coach Luka Bonasic whose services have been retained for one more season, will seek to gain maximum advantage on the technical and physical fronts.
Meanwhile, the Al Arabi team management decided to terminate the contract of Iraqi player Saad Natek, Croatian defender Ivan Fuchter and Ghanaian striker Kwame Karikari.
Brazilian midfielder Diego Jardel is the only surviving overseas player from last season. The Dream Team had recently recruited Syrian defender Ahmed Saleh for the upcoming season.
Al Arabi finished seventh in this season’s QNB Stars League with 24 points.
