QSL side Al Arabi has announced the termination of head coach Gerardo Pelusso by mutual consent after a string of bad results.

 The club made a statement late last night confirming the news adding that youth team coach Kamal Akhlaf will take charge of the side for the upcoming match against Muaither. Pelusso’s tenure lasted only five games with The Dream Team, which saw him oversee two victories and three defeats with the side.

Al Arabi’s management will now turn their focus to finding a suitable replacement for the Uruguayan tactician, and are expected to make an announcement in the coming days.
