Al Ahli's Younis Ali underwent a successful knee surgery in Aspetar on Wednesday morning, the club said.
 
Younis will be away from action for no less than three weeks, Al Ahli confirmed on Wednesday.
 
This means Younis won’t be able to feature in two Qatar Stars League
(QSL) games against El Jaish and Al Wakra in Rounds 14 and 15 respectively.
 
Al Ahli will take on El Jaish on December 22 at Hamad Bin Khalifah Stadium at 16:00.
 
Youniis considered one of the key players in the midfield for Al Ahli.
 
QSL round 14 starts on December 20.
