Abdullah Jassim, sports affairs official at Al Ahli, confirmed that the team will be heading to the Netherlands for a training camp from the 7th to the 22nd August in preparation for the 2016/2017 season.
Abdullah Jassim told the Qatar Stars League site that, "the Netherlands has been selected because we have seen that it has the best setup to host the outdoor camp, and we're also going to have four friendly games there.”
The sports affairs official continued, "The Netherlands is one of the best countries in the world for holding training camps and we hope that the camp will be a success and may it help the team in the next season.”
Al Ahli will begin their training for the upcoming season in Doha on the 10th of July before traveling abroad for the camp on August 7.
Al Ahli finished the 2015/2016 Qatar Stars League in sixth place with 37 points.
