
Speaking at the press conference the vastly experience coach was quick to thank the Ahli management for their cooperation so far. “The management has been fantastic in welcoming me and my coaching staff to the club. We will now start to prepare Ahli for what will be a challenging season in the QSL.”
“Our aim here is to build a strong side, which can really compete in the league and cup competitions. Again I must thank the management for supporting me in the transfer market. It will take time but step by step we will improve the fortunes of the club” added the 61 year old coach.
Caparrós will now begin to formally coach Al Ahli, after which the Spaniard will lead the side to their preseason training camp in Netherlands which will run from the 2nd till the 22nd of August.
