QSL side Al Ahli has revealed their training plans ahead of the new 2017/2018 campaign. Club officials confirmed that the Brigadiers are set to have their preseason camp in the Netherlands from the 2^nd to the 22^nd of August.

Al Ahli also confirmed that a decision will be made on the replacement of head coach Yusef Adam, after the Qatari coach resigned from his post at the end of the QSL campaign. Officials revealed that a decision will be made in the next few days and announced in due course.

With regards to professional players, all four players are set to leave the club after the expiry of their contracts. These include the Iranian duo of Pejman Montazeri and Mojtaba Jabbari along with Argentinian midfielder Cristian Maidana, whilst striker Yassine Chikhaoui will return to his parent club Al Gharafa. The future of striker N'Guessan Yessoh is also set to be resolved when the Ivorian attacker formally returns to the club after his loan spell at fellow QSL side Muaither.

Al Ahli endured a disappointing QSL campaign, eventually finishing in tenth place with a tally of 27 points for the season.
