Al Ahli and Al Khor played out a 1-1 draw in a friendly played as part of preparations for their QNB Stars League final-round games scheduled for 8th April.

Majed Mohammed and Hamad Mansour scored for Al Ahli and Al Khor respectively in the match played at the Al Ahli Stadium on Saturday.

Al Khor’s Tunisian coach Nassif Al Bayawi was eager to ensure his players’ readiness before their QNB Stars League Week 22 game against Al Arabi.

Similarly, Al Ahli’s new coach Yousef Ahmed looked to make the most of the friendly before they face Al Rayyan in the last round. He also tried out various combinations.

Al Ahli are eighth with 22 points and Al Khor 10th with one point less.
