QSL side Al Ahli has confirmed the signing of South Korean midfielder Kim Gwi-hyeon on a one year deal. The club reported the news, confirming that the 27 year old midfielder was recruited from Iranian side Sanat Naft Abadan. Kim is set to replace Iranian midfielder Mojtaba Jabbari as the side’s Asian player.

Kim will now leave Doha before returning to train with his new side. It’s been a busy summer so far for the Brigadeers who also announced the signing of Spanish coach Joaquín Caparrós at the end of May. Both Kim and Caparrós will now be charged with reviving the fortunes of Al Ahli, who finished tenth last season in the QSL standings.
