QSL side Qatar SC have introduced both goalkeeper Jassem Adel and striker Fahad Khalfan to the local media as the Kings ramp up their preparations ahead of the new QSL season.
Both Adel and Khalfan made the switch to the Kings following Al Shahania’s relegation at the end of the season, and were paraded in front of the local media with a host of Qatar SC officials in attendance. It’s been a busy few days for the club, having previously introduced no less than four local players on Monday afternoon.
Talking on their move to the newly promoted side, keeper Jassem Adel revealed his eagerness to start with his new team. “I am excited to have joined, Qatar SC has a great history in Qatari football and I hope that I can contribute to the team’s success in some way this season.”
Whilst for striker Fahad Khalfan, he insisted that his new side have the potential to shock some sides in the league this season. “It’s clear that we have quality in the side, I think that if we remain focused we can do well in the league and pull well away from the relegation zone.”
Both players will now join up for training with their new side. It’s been a busy summer so far for the Kings who along with the six local signings have a new head coach in the form of ex Saudi Arabia manager Gabriel Calderón.
