QSL side Umm Salal has confirmed that midfielder Abdulaziz Al Yahri has signed a one year contract extension with the Orange Fortress.

After signing Rami Fayez, Muhannad Adnan Derjal and Khalid Al Zekeba, and renewing the contract of head coach Mahmoud Jaber, Umm Salal announced the renewal of the contract of Abdulaziz Al Yahri for the 2017/2018 season.

Al Yahri was one of the outstanding players for Umm Salal last season. The young Qatari has been a key element in the Umm Salal midfield which helped them turn around their season in the final stages of the league. He will be hoping for a top four finish in the upcoming season as his team finished sixth in the 2016/2017 season.
