Lekhwiya's midfield star Yusef Msaki has expressed his excitement at signing a long term deal with the club. <br />

The club revealed the deal back in June, but Msakni expressed his eagerness to stay with the Red Knights in <a href="http://www.lekhwiyaclub.qa/en/football/news/8255-2016-07-24-13-07-00.ht… interview</a> via the Lekhwiya website. "I received offers from several clubs to move on, but I preferred to stay with Lekhwiya especially when the management showed faith in me with such a contract.”<br />

Msakni was Lekhwiya’s top scorer last term with fourteen goals, his best return in his fourth season with the Red Knights. With the former ES Tunis star tied to a long term contract, Lekhwiya will up their training ahead of their second friendly of preseason against Saudi giants Al Hilial.<br />
