Round 18 of the QSL season will kick-off with only one match, as Al Shahania take on Al Sailya in the 18:40 KO at Al Arabi stadium.

Both sides are only separated by four points in the league, and know a win will significantly aid their bid to beat the drop. Al Shahania has yet to win under new coach Igor Štimac and fell to a 3-0 defeat to high-flying Al Gharafa last time out. Štimac will certainly be targeting his first three points with the Oryxes against an Al Sailiya who have struggled this season. January signing Rahim Zahivi has been ruled out of the game with a minor injury.
As for the visitors Al Sailya, they picked up their first win in three QSL games with a narrow 1-0 win over Umm Salal, in a result that saw Sami Trabelsi’s side pull out of the relegation zone. January signing Temurkhuja Abdukholiqov came up with the goods for his new side, scoring on his debut and the Uzbeki will be aiming to build on his good start with the Peregrines.
