Al Markhiya coach Adel Sellimi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Arabi.

“Our preparations have gone well for the Al Arabi match. We hope to present a good performance and achieve victory. The results do not necessarily reflect the situation of the team.

“Al Arabi have players who are capable of making the difference in terms of results. Their position in the standings does not reflect their performance. They have a greater desire to stay in the First Division.

“In the last game against Al Gharafa and in all games, I ask the players to stay calm and implement the team strategy. The players were well focused on their training sessions in the last few days.

“I’m used to the pressure, I played twice in the World Cup, and that’s normal. I’m basically a coach. I spent three-and-a-half years analysing the Qatar league on the Al Kass channel.

“The atmosphere surrounding the game and the work of the coach is what you enjoy. The work of the coach brings you much of the world of football, so I do not regret returning to coaching,” said Sellimi.
