Qatar Sports Club has had a season to remember and in round 26 of the Qatar Stars League they faced off against Al Arabi at home.<br />
<br />
The match was a close affair with both sides having large spells of possession; however it was the Kings who broke the deadlock. The goal came from a Han Kook-Young corner; Fadhl Omar ran into the box late and was unmarked. The ball fell perfectly to the frontman who didn’t even have to jump to meet it (30’).<br />

However Arabi were able to restore parity just before the break when they won a penalty, striker Paulinho doing well to send the keeper the wrong way from the spot with the last kick of the first half.<br />
<br />
In the second half the Kings killed off the match when Han Kook-Young did well to control an in-swinging cross from right back Shaheen, the Korean then toe-poked it past the on-rushing keeper for all three points (54').<br />

Qatar has had a remarkable season and was the surprise package as many had them down to be relegated after the poor start to the season. Qatar finished in 4th position and qualifies for the Qatar Cup.
