Al Shahania coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 2 match against Al Sailiya.

“It will not be easy against a well-organized and strong team. However, I have confidence in our players’ ability to deliver a good performance and achieve the desired result.

“Preparations for the match are progressing well and the players understand the significance of the encounter. The team continues to work on improving its performance and learning from previous matches.

“We successfully imposed our style of play and created numerous opportunities in the previous match. The biggest challenge lies in converting these chances into goals, which is what the team is currently working to improve,” said Younes.

Al Shahania player Shehab Ellethi said, “We are ready to face Al Sailiya and all players are entering the match with a clear objective: to secure the three points.

“We know Al Sailiya’s strength and the level of performance the team displayed last season and in the previous match. We will strive to impose our style of play and capitalize on available opportunities to achieve victory.”
