Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Lusail.
“Our preparations were routine, we began with a recovery phase during the first two days of training before proceeding with our regular sessions.
“The players displayed a positive spirit and are in good physical condition, we are now ready for the upcoming match against Lusail.
“This is a very important match for us as we are facing a team that has been highly impressive during its debut season in Doha Bank Stars League. As we have seen, they have made a very strong start to the season. We realize it will be a tough game, so we must maintain the highest level of focus, given that they possess a very good squad,” said Martins.
Al Gharafa player Frank Magri said, “We are continuing to work hard and train at a high intensity with maximum focus, aiming to secure the win and the three points against Lusail.
“It will be a difficult match because Lusail have a very good team. We have watched their previous games, especially their last match against Al Wakrah, and they play with great confidence, particularly in attack, as they have some outstanding players.”
