Al Ahli coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 13 match against Al Sadd.

“Al Ahli will face a strong team, the reigning league champions for the past two seasons, who are also serious contenders for the title this season. However, Al Ahli will be ready for the match and the team has been prepared to the best of its ability to deliver a better performance than in the previous match against Al Shamal.

“The match against Al Sadd will not be easy as they are a team that has shown good form in recent league matches and has maintained a consistent level of results. We will be playing with some absences, but will play with full force to achieve a positive result,” said Younes.

Al Ahli captain Jassim Mohammed said, “We are aware of the difficulty of the match against Al Sadd, but we will give our all on the field to achieve victory.

“The players are entering the match on the back of a win and a strong performance against Al Shamal in the previous round and will play to demonstrate our continued improvement.”
