Al Waab and Lusail shared an absorbing 1-1 draw in Round 2 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Ahli club on Tuesday.

While Mohamed Al Hassan put Al Waab ahead in the 35th minute, a penalty strike in the 65th minute saw Lusail draw parity. Macedonian forward Georg Stojanovski converted from the spot.

The stalemate was the first of the tournament for both sides after having made winning starts. While Al Waab had defeated Mesaimeer 1-0 in the opening round, Lusail had defeated Al Markhiya by a similar margin.
