Al Waab beat Al Shamal Future 2-0 in Week 2 of 2026-2027 season Jetour League at Al Bayt Stadium on Monday.

Al Waab maintained their perfect start to the season with the convincing victory while Al Shamal Future remained in search of their first win after being held by Al Kharaitiyat in the previous round.

Santiago Duque gave Al Waab an early breakthrough in the 12th minute, finally finding the net after the visitors had squandered a series of promising chances.

The solitary goal kept Al Waab in control heading into the break, with Al Shamal Future unable to find a way back into the contest.

The visitors eventually doubled their advantage in the 58th minute when Modu Seye headed home following a corner kick. Al Shamal Future’s defence failed to deal with the set-piece, allowing Seye to capitalise on the error and seal the deserved victory.
