<span dir="LTR">DOHA: El Jaish forward Magid Mohammed is set undergo a surgery to repair damaged ligaments, a club official said on Tuesday.</span><br />

<span dir="LTR">Mohammed suffered a bad injury during a ninth-round Qatar Stars League</span><br />
<span dir="LTR">(QSL) clash. It was announced then that the Qatar national team strike will be out for the entire season.</span><br />
<br />
<span dir="LTR">The 31-year-old will undergo surgery at Qatar's Aspetar, the sports medicine hospital.</span><br />
<br />
<span dir="LTR">The forthcoming surgery will be the first step for Mohammed who faces a long lay-off.</span><br />
<br />
<span dir="LTR">Club officials have said the striker won't be able to get on the pitch for at least six months following the surgery.</span><br />
<br />
<span dir="LTR">Yusuf Muftah, Seydou Keita, Abdulrahman Abkar, Dame Traore, Abdul Qadir Ilyas, Khalid Abdul Rauf and Mohammed are some of the key El Jaish names on the injured list.</span><br />

<span dir="LTR">El Jaish are in 3rd spot in the QSL points race.</span><br />

<span dir="LTR">QSL action resumes on January 3.</span><br />
