QSL side Al Gharafa continued their preparations ahead of the new season, with a 3-1 friendly defeat to a local Dubai side.<br />

Striker Adel Ahmed scored a late consolidation for Pedro Caixinia’s side, in a game which saw Slovakian midfielder Vladimir Weiss return to the side after spell on the sidelines with an injury.  <br />

The Cheetahs will continue their friendly schedule with a clash against QSL rivals Al Arabi on the 3^rd of September. Gharafa will conclude their preseason for the new QSL season when they take on Saudi giants Al Ahli on the 7^th of September.<br />
